There is much to do here in San Juan Del Sur, making it never a dull day.
Beach Shuttles and Surfing
Come jump on a surf shuttle and explore some of the best waves in Nicaragua North and South of San Juan Del Sur. We can arrange surf trips to playa Maderas, Remanso, Tamrindo and Yankee. If surfing isn’t your thing just relax on one of the stunning beaches and take in the sun. If you need a lesson we can arrange one with one of our very attentive and experienced surf instructors who will have you catching waves in no time. Didn’t bring a board come drop by and see if we have the right board for you, if we don’t we can point you in the right direction making sure you get the most out of your surf session.
Fishing
If you would like to catch your dinner we can arrange fishing trips for you. Join a crew of local fisherman and bring some of your best friends to explore the great Pacific Ocean in hunt for Dorado, Tuna, Mackerol, Wahoo, and Grouper. Take a short 2.5 hour sunset fishing trip and sip on some cold cervezas, or get seriously rigged up to catch some big ones and spend the day miles of the Nicaraguan Coastline.
Horseback Riding
Come be a cowboy for a day and explore the Nicaraguan Jungle as we saddle up and gallop along the horse trails and down onto the pristine beaches. Here you will see plenty of wild life, everything from howler monkeys to parakeets.
Zipline
Ever dreamed of swinging through the canopy like a spider monkey well here is your chance. Come join us on one of the premier ziplines in Central America. You will travel over 2.5km on 16 different cables and reaching 17 different platforms. Sailing
Come view the Nicaraguan coastline from the illustrious Gypsy sail boat. Join the experienced
crew for an afternoon of pirating and sailing as you harness the wind into an adventure of a life
time. Sail north or south and pillage untamed beautiful beaches as you gorge yourself on the
fruits of the land.

Sea Turtles
During turtle season (rainy Season) join us for a trip down south to the turtle reserve La Flor. We will spend the night viewing monster Olive Ridley turtles lay their eggs. During peak season you can see over 100 turtles come to the beach to nest. This is a protected reserve and considered one of the best turtle sanctuaries on the Pacific Cost. We will provide you with roundtrip transportation and a guide to ensure that you see some of the most beautiful turtles Central America has to offer.
Jesus Walks
Tired of spending money and just want to get a good view and snap some pictures. Endure the 45 minute hike up to the infamous Jesus statue that is perched high over the bay of San Juan and snap a few pictures of the breathtaking views. This is not an organized religious event just a great way to take amazing pictures, and sweat out the toxins from the night before. Entry is 20 C$.
Nightlife
San Juan Del Sur is definitely a party town, on any given night the local beachfront bars will be packed with various locals and travelers grooving out to everything from the recent top 40 to the top Latin beats. Don’t stay out to late and miss some of the fun activities during the day, well if you do you can always spend the day outback in the PachaMama Garden lounging in a Hammock.
